cpd25 is organised by its Chairperson and Steering Group, each member of which leads a task group responsible for a particular area of staff development. This work is supported by a Staff Development Administrator. The Chair of cpd25 will be a co-opted member of the M25 Consortium Steering Group and invited to attend meetings of the ULC.The Chair of cpd25 will convene the cpd25 Steering Group, consisting of up to five members, each of whom will have an interest and experience in staff development and training. Other members may be co-opted as required. The membership of the cpd25 Steering Group will broadly reflect the range of libraries represented by the M25 Consortium and the ULC. The Chair of the cpd25 will be responsible for recommending membership of cpd25 Steering Group to the M25 Consortium Steering Group and the ULC. An Administrator funded by M25 Consortium members will support the cpd25 Steering Group and the work of cpd25, as agreed by the Chair of cpd25. cpd25 Steering Group members will each convene a Task Group responsible for aspects of work of cpd25, as agreed by the Chair of cpd25. cpd25 Steering Group members will be responsible for recommending membership of cpd25 Task Groups to the cpd25 Chair. Membership of Task Groups will be open to all staff in participating libraries. The cpd25 Chair will ensure that each Task Group maintains a reasonable balance of membership (in terms of such aspects as experience, role and library type) and an appropriate number of members to achieve the Task Group's work effectively. |
