The cpd25 Work Exchange Scheme for CILIP Chartership Candidates – a new staff development initiative from cpd25!
cpd25 is very pleased to announce the launch of a brand new work exchange scheme aimed at CILIP Chartership candidates working in member libraries of the M25 Consortium. The new scheme will give candidates the rare opportunity to:
- Gain new insights and wider professional experience.
- Experience the working environment in a different type of library.
- Reflect on what they have learnt and experienced.
Through the new section on our recently re-designed website, cpd25 will act as a clearing house for CILIP Chartership candidates who are seeking a work exchange placement (normally ten working days as a minimum). Work placements will consist mainly of work shadowing and discussions with other staff, but could also include some new training. We will launch the scheme to Chartership candidates at the first session on the cpd25 Chartership series, on October 11th, and with electronic publicity direct to Staff Development Officers.
