Meeting of the cpd25 Operations Task Group Chalk Suite 5, University of Westminster 17th February 2006 10am Present: Carole Pickaver, Caroline Fletcher, Kate Burke, Rose Coughlan, Martin Carbonell, Cathy Phillpotts, Susan Gilbert, Dave Puplett. 1. Apologies: Roddie Shepherd 2. Minutes of last meeting – 14th Oct Accepted as correct. 3. Matters Arising: None 4. Programme 05/06: Building Management: Still looking for a 4th speaker. The programme could be filled out with an extra library tour. Martin and Roddie to investigate. Dave to advertise when ready. Focus Groups: Speakers are arranged, from TFPL, University of Middlesex and Peter Godwin. Self Service: Middlesex Machines well worth seeing – variety of speakers being considered. Visits to Sutton: Both dates arranged. Dave to confirm numbers etc. Mergers conference: Most of the speakers have been arranged. Still need supervisior level people for one session. Martin to ask at Kingston, and Susan Gilbert to pursue Ulwin Grebel. The discussion sessions will be led by task group members. Dave to keep record of who will attend which day. Rose to draw up brief text to do initial advertisement. 5. Update from Dave Dave reported on progress with the cpd25 webpage’s, which should be live before Easter. The date of the review day was also confirmed as the 29th March. 6. AOB The group had the usual discussion of their own institutions and their own personal development. 7. Next meeting: 24th May 10am – Dave to arrange venue.
