Oxford exchange of experience day - To take place on Friday 9th March. Could feature an introduction from the Head of Department. The publicity will cover who is available at Oxford Brookes to take part on the day, hopefully enabling us to match delegates to staff from their field of expertise. This will extend to all levels, and we should anticipate some interest from chartership candidates. cpd25 will budget for a charge for the day which will cover transport (by coach from Victoria), lunch and refeshments. 5. Any other business: Beverley and Judith have thought about events on Marketing a library service. This is something not properly covered at cpd25 events before, and is not very well provided for externally either. The possibility of an exchange of experience session was discussed. Claire offered to contact Antony Brewerton at Oxford Brookes about doing a session towards the end of the current academic year. Susan kindly offered her assistance to any one in the group who needs a hand in arranging their events as she did not have anything assigned to her yet. 6. Date of next meeting: 15th February 2007, University of Westminster, room tbc. 7. Lunch: The group was thanked over lunch for their contribution. Thanks were expressed by the group to Jean Yeoh and the cpd25 administrator for their support. |
