1. Welcome, Resignations and apologies

All welcomed Paul Johnson to the group

Due to work commitments, June Hodges and Karen Drury sent their resignations. The group thanked them for all their hard work.

Craigie-Lee Paterson, Sue Csoka and Jennifer Treherne sent their apologies.

2. Minutes of the last meeting

3. Programme of events for 2011/12; reports from TG members on event planning

3.1 Visit to Surrey University and "Splash" with a talk on study skills/information literacy

JT agreed visit to be re-organised for the Autumn term with a focus on the project and changes taking place. This was delayed due to overrunning of refurbishment work at Surrey.

3.2 Shared services

Organised by CP and GM.

3.2 Visit to Women's Library

SC to organise for Friday, 12th January.

3.3 Changing role of Library Assistants

GM and JT to arrange.

3.4 Visit to Ravensbourne

CP to organise for March 2012.

3.5 Research support

JT and AY to organise for April 2012.

3.6 Olympic Visit

PS and CLP to arrange for May 2012

3.7 Converging Services

It was agreed that SC would organise for June 2012.

3.8 Visits to Wellcome Library

3.9 Changing the LMS

JT and PJ to arrange.

3.10 Event for Academic Liaison Librarians

PS and SC to arrange.

4. Any other business

It was agreed to hold the annual Task Group meal after the next meeting.

PS agreed to contact Jenny Treherne to see if she was still able to participate in the groups activities.
