1. Apologies Apologies had been received from Sam Martin, Eilis Rafferty, Kathy Paterson, Jane Rosen & Sally Houston 2. Minutes of the last meeting The minutes were accepted as a correct record 3. Matters arising All matters are included in the agenda 4. Programme • Final event 2003/4 Enquiry Services Seminar Jane Rosen convened this event 5. New Programme 2004/5 Seminars • M25/LHL’s joint Learning & Teaching Workshop Janet submitted a report to the meeting. Insert report here • M25 Quality Group User Survey’s Event This event was held on 26th November 2004 The event was fully booked and well received • Special Collections event This session has been scheduled for February 2005. Christine Wise will submit a programme in due course. • Managing Self Issue Insert Eilis’ report here. • Customer Care Sally is looking for potential speakers for this event planned for March 2005 (since moved to June 2005) Suggestions included Julie Parry, Allegro and TFPL. Action: Janet to pass on suggestions to Sally for further discussion • International Users Kathy was not present to report on this event. Action: Caroline to provide name of International student liaison office at University of Westminster to Kathy as a potential speaker. • M25 Student Centred Services Group This group has decided not to run any events this year Visits • Royal Geographical Society Two visits on the insert dates here have been confirmed. • British Library Visit The focus and date of this event is to be confirmed by Sam shortly. 5. Any other business • Events reporting template The group would like a template for writing up evaluation • Events for Library Assistants The group would like to see if they could offer more events to non professional library staff. • Sally steps down Sally has announced her intention to retire from CPD25 at the end of this academic year. Janet thanked Sally, in her absence, for all the hard work that she had contributed to the group and to its previous incarnations. 6.
