3. Programme 06/07
Imperial War Museum (Jane)
Both visits fully booked, easily enough demand for an other later in the year.

Barbican:
Could be run in Dec/Jan.
Dave to liase with Helen about dates and numbers.

British Museum:
To be kept in reserve if we need another visit.

Learning and Teaching (Janet):
With Gwyneth Price. Similar format to last year. Advert already out and bookings underway.

Changing Expectations (Antonella):
Likely to take place after April.
Sessions could be run on new library buildings, changing ethnic and social background of students, part time and distance learning.

Ebooks (Jane, June):
Scheduled for May, no plans made yet.

4. Conference:
To be held on Monday 23rd April. Most likely venue is the Hatton on Hatton Gardens. Dave
If we need additional help on the day, Karen Drury may be available, and June may be able to bring some colleagues along to help.

Jean Sykes will be able to stay for the morning. she will speak for 45 minutes.
We need a minimum of 60 delegates. Breakout space for 3 groups is available (4 if we need). these can each take 25 or so people dependant on room layout.

Speakers should be approached to do a slot no longer than 30 mins, with an extra 10 minutes or so for questions.

Some shorter sessions will potentially run one after the other.

Possibility of contacting library schools and offering a slot to a student. Pat and Jenny to look at submissions

Sponsorship:
The group discussed potential targets for sponsoring / bring a display stand to the event.
