Reflective Practice

A mix of the practical and theoretical will be employed by Ash Charlton in order to help participants meet the objectives of the course, which are as follows:
1. Gain an understanding of what is meant by reflective practice and the basic conditions required for it to take place;

2. Improve your knowledge of the range of techniques available for instituting reflective practice and get ideas for effective implementation;

3. Learn to use the various types of RP. This full-day programme has been devised following the feedback gained during two successful events held in 2007-8.

Programme:
9.45 Registration and refreshments
10.00 Introductions, reflection exercises, group work and definitions of RP.
11.15 Break
11.35 Solo work and team exercises
1.00-2.00pm Lunch
2.00-3.15 Conversational RP - demonstration and pair work
3.15 Break
3.30 Methods summary - choices and case studies
4.30 Close

Booking Information:
The cost, including lunch and refreshments, for cpd25 members is £90 for this all day session. For non members the price is £130.To book please use our online booking form or email cpd25@wmin.ac.uk.
Please note that there are limited places available for this event.
Cancellations less than one week before the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. In the event of a ‘no-show’ on the day, the full fee will be charged.
